What's included

Every install includes new isolation valves, an expansion tank where required by code, thermal expansion protection, permit, and warranty registration.
Signs you need it
Book a repair for pilot outages, no hot water, insufficient hot water, rusty water at the tap, popping/rumbling from the tank (sediment), or a leak from a fitting. Book a replacement immediately if water is leaking from the tank body itself — that means the inner liner has failed and it cannot be repaired. Standard tanks last 8–12 years; tankless units 15–20 with annual descaling.
Our process
For same-day tank replacement, we confirm size and fuel type on the phone, arrive with the new unit, drain and pull the old tank, install new isolation valves and expansion tank, connect gas/electric to code, fill and test, and haul the old tank away. Tankless conversions include gas line resizing (most existing lines are undersized), venting through the sidewall, hard-water inlet filter, and isolation valves for future descaling.

Do tankless water heaters need maintenance?+
Yes — annual descaling to remove hard-water scale from the heat exchanger. Skipping it voids most manufacturer warranties. Our tankless installs include the first year free.
Can I convert from tank to tankless in a day?+
Usually 1–2 days. Most existing gas lines feeding a tank are undersized for a tankless unit (which fires at 150,000+ BTU) and need to be resized, plus we install new sidewall venting. We'll confirm the scope in the quote.
